Writers in the Community Poetry Workshop Week 1

Monday, March 13, 2023 - 5:30pm to 6:45pm

Auntie's bookstore is happy to host a poetry workshop organized and run by C.G. Dahlin. This is a free three week workshop. Each session will be independent, anyone would benefit from attending just one, however, those that attend all three will greatly benefit from how each of these subjects play together. Every session, attendees will walk out with at least one new written work.

The workshop will take place on the Mezzanine at Auntie's Bookstore. If you have any inquires please contact cdahlin@ewu.edu.
These workshops are free and open to the public.

When we write, it can be easy to be solely occupied by expressing our personal experiences. However, we can experience a great liberation of our subject matter if we begin to consider our dream experiences and further yet, the boundless playground that is the dream experience. In this workshop, we’ll cover how the ancients used their dreams for inspiration. Ultimately we’ll pull from our own dreams and the dreams of others to source our next great poem.

Session 2 will be held on Monday, March 20th (see calendar for details).
Session 3 will be held on Monday, March 27th (see calendar for details).
