Signing: A Roll of the Dice II

We will be joined by six wonderful authors to sign copies of this local anthology on Saturday, February 23rd! Please join us in celebrating another great work.

“A Roll of the Dice 2” is the second anthology put out by The Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror writers of Spokane. Both this anthology and the one before it was made by rolling a set a story dice and using the elements on the dice as inspiration for a short story. This particular roll gave us a clock, the world, flames, and a turtle. The interpretation of these elements could be as broad or literal as the author chose. The stories range from funny, to fanciful, to creepy. There’s something for everyone, so please enjoy.

Mel Murphy Mel Murphy was born in Monterey, California and grew up in rural northern Nevada. She has lived in and traveled most of the American southwest as well as: London, England, Sydney, Australia, and the Pacific Northwest. Former day jobs include: wildland firefighter, janitor, organic farm worker, seasonal postal carrier, and newspaper reporter. Her short stories are available on Amazon Kindle, Audible and iTunes.

Brett Bunge is a freelance writer and film critic who holds a B.A in English from the University of California, Davis. His work “Sword of Shadows” previously appeared in the first Roll of the Dice anthology. He has also contributed to various online publications including The Mighty and The Portalist, where he wrote a personal retrospective of the Mass Effect video game series. Brett’s film review blog can be found at staythroughthecredits.blogspot.com.

Bill Link A self-described starving artist, Bill Link is a lifelong resident of Spokane/Spokane Valley, where most of his fiction takes place. He has published an anthology of short horror stories called Creeping Shadows, and has contributed fiction to the anthologies, A Roll Of The Dice, and A Roll Of The Dice II. Currently, he is working on a horror novel. He lives with his wife, daughter, and their cat, Lovecraft.

Bob Jenson Robert John Jenson really does not like to write little blurbs about himself. He's written two novels, is happily married and is a proud father of two incredible and adventurous daughters. There, that ought to cover it.

Angel Vansant Angel Vansant is thoroughly excited to be a part of the second volume of "Roll of the Dice". As a twenty-two-year-old she is fairly new to the process but has been writing and imaginative for as long as she remembers. Likes to play with darker themes and sits comfortably with the uncomfortable. Has worked very hard and feels extremely passionate about this piece for it touches on a more serious topic. Hopes you enjoy reading it as much as she enjoyed writing it.

Georgette Graham – Georgette is a writer, blogger, and cat-lover who started this writer’s group in 2016. She loves all things strange and unusual and loves this group and these anthologies they have produced dearly. You can find her blog at www.georgettegraham.com.
