About Florrie Munat:
Florrie Munat spent six years caregiving for her husband Chuck, who had Lewy body dementia. She has published a memoir about that experience, Be Brave: A Wife’s Journey Through Caregiving. A former librarian and English teacher, she lives on Bainbridge Island, Washington, where she is writing a young adult novel and a memoir about grieving.
About Florrie Munat's "Be Brave":
Florrie Munat became her husband Chuck’s caregiver on the day he suffered a stroke. Any chances for his recovery were derailed when Chuck was diagnosed with Lewy body dementia. After that devastating news, Florrie and Chuck assumed their loving marriage had been shattered forever. But what happened next surprised them.
With honesty, humor, and compassion, Florrie’s inspiring memoir invites the reader to walk in her shoes as she navigates the roller-coaster journey of caregiving for a spouse with dementia. Despite the daily challenges, she comes to appreciate the reciprocal nature of caregiving—with gifts both given and received. Eventually she discovers the most important lesson of all: that being a caregiver has allowed her to understand the depth and magnitude of her love for Chuck.

About Francee Strain's "No Ordinary Invitation":
This book is designed to take the reader on a journey. It contains both historical and current accounts, with a bit of memoir sprinkled in. Investigation is made into the invitations available to us in all aspects of our lives: mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, and social. Readers are presented with case studies and scenarios from which they can learn truths that can then be applied to their own situations. Introspection is encouraged and is followed with a call to action. This book has the potential to change lives, both now and in the years to come.
Our lives are filled with things to do, but why do we do the things we do? Is there another way, a better way? Perspective and focus shape the way we live and the schedules we keep. Where exactly are we focusing? What types of perspectives do we have? Are our views about the temporary, or are they about the eternal?
