Julie Titone is a former staff member of The Spokesman-Review whose writing and photography has appeared in international publications. She was once married to the late Grady C. Myers, another Review staffer who was an artist and a Vietnam vet. Titone presents the book she co-authored with Myers, Boocoo Dinky Dow which translates as, “A world gone crazy.” Subtitled My Short Crazy Vietnam War, this is an illustrated memoir of Myers’s years as the nearsighted young man who was trained to be an M-60 machine gunner.
