Commander John B. Herrington, Astronaut: Story Time!

Commander John B. Herrington is BACK, this time for Story Time in celebration of Native American Heritage Month! John made history as the first enrolled Native American to fly in space, and he's made history again with his first kid's book! In "Mission to Space", John explores his passion for stars and his Chickasaw heritage while giving a glimpse of his astronaut training, his mission to the International Space Station, and the tasks required of him as a member of NASA. This awesome children's book is illustrated with photos of John's training and space travels, and includes an English/Chickasaw vocabulary list. Join us for this amazing occasion!
