Celebrating Spokane Authors

Spokane Authors and Self Publishers (SASP) have released their first anthology titled Celebrating Spokane Authors, an exciting collection of poetry, fiction, and non-fiction! SASP will be having two readings at Auntie's Bookstore, each one featuring different writers in the anthology.

Readers for the January 12 event include:

  • Sue Eller, fiction--Sue writes science fiction with a humorous twist of mystery. She is the author of the Emily Trace mysteries, a novella, and a gluten-free cookbook, and will be moderating the evening's discussion.
  • Caryl Briscoe Michas, essay--Writes about her experiences as an actor and photographer.
  • Larry Danek, fiction--Breaks the mold of traditional ghost stories, and gives the reader an unusual look at life, death, and a desire to right some of this world's wrongs.
  • Linda Noble Sonntag, poetry--Linda writes poetry that brings a slice of humor into everyday life struggles.

Other contributors in the anthology include: Kate Poitevin, D. Andrew McChesney, Jenny Humann, Stan Parks, Joyce Caudel, Fred Jessett, Henry P. Sasser, James Bartlett Parry, Beth Camp, Larry Danek, Bob Weldin, Esther J. Hildahl, Kathleen Schrum, Arthur Greenfield, and Jonah Lincoln Caliri.

More information about the second reading coming soon. To discover more about SASP, visit http://www.spokaneauthors.org.
