Celebrate Dr. Seuss’s 108th Birthday with Auntie Violet. She will be reading some of our favorite Seuss stories and will be giving away some great goodies. Come join the fun – it will be Seuss-errific!!!

This weekend brings Dr. Seuss's birthday and the release of Universal Studios' animated film The Lorax. We'll read it and some other Seuss classics to celebrate!

North Carolina State University professor W. Jason Miller will be on hand to disucuss his book, Langston Hughes and American Lynching Culture, in which he examines the 36 poems Hughes wrote on the subject of lynching and its effects on survivors and accomplices.
