Dark City Books

Dark City Books and Auntie's have been friends for many years. Steve Oliver, who first came to our attention with his great mystery novels, went on to establish this publishing company and release the work of other local authors. Visit Dark City Books for a new thrill!

Most recently, we welcomed the anthology: Spokane Is Still Deader Than Dead, which includes a short story by Auntie's staffer Linda Bond.

More stories from the underbelly of the Lilac City, written by:

Barbara Curtis, Colin Conway, Dale Alling, Darin Krogh, Carol Crigger, Steve Oliver, and Linda Bond. Most of the authors are shown here signing copies of their book at the Auntie's presentation.

Enjoy!

Dark City's prior "dead" anthology release was celebrated last year at Auntie's with a reading and signing by 5 of the 6 authors included in the anthology: Stories for a Dead Night in Spokane.

It doesn't get much deadlier than this! These stories come from the bottom of the authors', uh, heart(s). Steve Oliver enjoys a cup of coffee at Auntie's Author Celebration event a few years ago.

Enjoy viewing these photos from the release event:

Authors Barbara Curtis, Colin Conway, Dale Alling and Dan Webster join Steve Oliver at the autographing table. (Oh, no! What's happened to Mark Shilo?)

Fans and friends have the courage to get close enough for autographs - brave souls!
